SOUTH INDIAN CULTURE The Republic of India carries an honourable position, owing to the large area it occupies in the Asian continent. But, that is not all, as the country boasts over the immense population it houses which in turn has given rise to a tremendous variety in the forms of culture. India displays different forms of dance, music, food, traditions and art forms specific to the different regions of the north, south, east and west of India. Of these, South India contributes an important part to the Indian culture. South India is made up of five states, them being, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Telangana and it successfully integrates the cultures of these states to create an overall characteristic of Southern India while incorporating the individual differences displayed by each state.
